IMLA 28 Konferans

Dear CyberMarsec Family,

We are delighted to share our recent participation in the IMLA (Maritime Lecturers Association) International Maritime Educators Association Conference, held in Varna, Bulgaria from September 6th to 9th. At the conference, we had the privilege to present our work on the digital transformation in maritime security education.

Our presentations, titled "Towards Digital Transformation for Maritime Security in Maritime Education and Training" and "Modelling of Maritime Cyber Security Education and Training," were well-received and provided valuable insights into the ongoing efforts to revolutionize maritime education.

Our very own Doç. Dr. Pelin Bolat, who is both an IMLA Committee Member and the Coordinator of CyberMarsec, had the honor of presenting the IMLA Conference slated for 2024, with the support of Istanbul Technical University and Piri Reis University.

The conference served as a vital platform to emphasize the importance of digital transformation in maritime education and training, particularly in the realm of maritime security and cyber security education. As CyberMarsec, we reasserted our commitment to advancing security and cyber security education in the maritime domain and continued our mission to lead in these fields.

Stay tuned for more information on the IMLA Conference in 2024, and we look forward to your participation. We will keep sharing the latest developments and innovations in the maritime and cyber security domains with you.

Thank you, with your support, we can achieve even more!

Warm regards,
