The Maritime Security and Cyber Threats Research Laboratory (CyberMarSec Lab) of Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Maritime, participated in the 30th International Maritime Lecturers Association (IMLA) Conference.

Our research team contributed to the conference with two papers:

“A Survey-Based Assessment of VR-Enhanced GMDSS Training”

“System Thinking for CO₂ Emission of Cruise Ships in EU”

These studies focus on the effectiveness of VR-supported GMDSS training in maritime education and system thinking-based analysis of CO₂ emissions from cruise ships in the European Union.

We sincerely thank the IMLA committee, organizing committee, and scientific committee for their efforts in successfully holding this significant event.

Respectfully,
